a gateway to R constructs would open up the capability of xlstat
Thank you for this good news! I should like to try out XLstat with the R feature. I hope that the XLStat version essentially provides a true graphical user interface for R that includes not only running and scripting R code, but also editing graphs in a point-and-click manner.
Yes you should try it out now and tell us what you think :). Maybe you could also suggest R functions to implement (or implement yourself using our XML templates).
Hi,The XLSTAT-R interface is now available in Beta version. It is designed to use and write R procedures within XLSTAT dialog boxes in Microsoft Excel. Click here for more info
This is a great idea! There have been many attempts to make R more user-friendly, but thus far these have fallen short of the mark. Rstudio is arguably the best IDE, but it is not really a true GUI that enables users to tap into the vast resources of R without issuing commands or writing code. There is also a need to provide an interface to R that would enable point-and-click editing of graphs, akin to products such as GraphPad Prism or OriginPro.
You won't be notified about changes to this idea.
